Sidetracked. Descending from Philadelphia to invade the Palace of Wonders. Fresh from the Americana Burlesque and SideshowFestival, and a kick-ass run on the tall ship Gazela in Brooklyn,Sidetracked promises to be "benevolent" dictators of mirth. Tributes will be accepted in cash, chocolates and young concubines.

If you've ever wondered what Vaudeville tastes like, wonder no more. The Slomski Brothers are coming to town, and they always know what to do. Both Mark Slomski and Phil Slomski started performing at an early age, but it wasn't until Mama Slomski insisted they hit the road with the family luggage, Trunk Slomski, did they realize their dream: to bring laughter and the Slomski name to the entire world. Using an inherited ukulele and a pan forged from a moonshine still, the Slomski Brothers aim to sell their special brand of music, including a hint of comedy, juggling and slapstick, to anyone with time to spare. They have traveled the country over honing their skills as purveyors of fine goods and services. Casino O'Fortune Cookie Productions return to the Palace of Wonders with the follow-up to their sold out June smash, Killer Queen Burlesque! Presenting: SMELLS LIKE TEASE SPIRIT: The Burlesque Tribute to the 90s! The show makes its Washington DC debut Saturday, September 18th at the Palace of Wonders (1210 H Street NE), with shows at 9:30 and 11:30 PM. Admission is just 10 bucks.

SMELLS LIKE TEASE SPIRIT is a tassel-twirling, Macarena-dancing, Hammer pants-wearing celebration of that decade of relative peace and prosperity that came in with grunge and went out with the Backstreet Boys. The show first took New York City by storm in the summer of 2006 and has become an annual Big Apple tradition; it made its West Coast debut in Seattle in February 2010 and now comes down the Eastern Seaboard for the first time at the one-and-only Palace of Wonders! With a cast of all award-winning burlesque stars: Anita Cookie, Clams Casino, Trixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey, Sizzle Dizzle and emcee Neil O'Fortune! The show will be a hilarious and sexy striptease tour through the touchstones of the decade from Ace of Base to the X-Files, with performances showcasing Pulp Fiction, Pop-Up Video, Jerry Springer, Xena: Warrior Princess, party rap and a whole lot more.
